Cashiez, birth name Thabo Brandon Ndlovu is a humble guy and an upcoming artist from the City of Kings, aka Bulawayo.

Where does your name come from?

Cashiez originated when l was in S.A most of my friends where working back then and l was not. They would borrow transport money from me, and l always had some then they started saying that’s where the Cash is so I become Cashiez.

How did you get into music?

l was always in love with music from an early age so when the time came l just went to the studio and recorded my 1st track which was called Rich from that moment l never went back.

What made you choose hip hop and how would you describe your style?

My style in hip hop is kas gospel hip-hop. Rap music is the best way for me to express my feelings and views about everything. My rap vocals are good in expressing my talent in the music industry therefore I chose hip-hop.

When creating a track what are the main things that you consider

When creating a track, the main thing I consider are the instruments including the quality of beats. Besides the instruments I consider submission to God showing that he’s the supreme Master. I also consider a courageous message to the people.

Who have been your favourite artists to work with?

So far, I have worked with Cal Vin on the single I plan to drop online very soon. We managed to work very well therefore marking him as my favourite to work with so far.

What inspired your track, Poof and what was it like working with Cal Vin, what did you learn from him?

Poof was inspired by the daily life; we live regardless of the little we have we still have fun in what we do. Working with Cal Vin was an awesome experience to remember forever and l learnt that no matter what people say you got to keep pushing forward for only you know where yo are going.

Which artists would you like to work with?

I would really like to work with Casper Nyovest, DJ Sbue, T.I, Big Sean, Burna Boy not forgetting J Cole.
