Bryan K is a Soul-full musician from a small Zimbabwean town called Chinhoyi. I love making music that makes people feel good, that speaks to people’s inner beings.
Where did your love for music come from?
I grew up living with my grandmother, she loved music and would always listen to Lovemore Majaivana, Sipho Makabane etc. My mother’s brother and sister both went to Seventh Day Adventist Church (SDA) so we would always do gospel acapella songs which also made me love and appreciate music more.
What was the first track you ever made?
The first song I ever made is a song called “Genuine” which I never recorded, lol.
What do you hope people will get from listening to your music?
I want them to see the importance of Love for one another as human beings, as Africans. I want people to find comfort in my music like how things were back in the day. When you would listen to a song and that song made you feel good.
Who have been your favourite artists to work with?
Nutty O is one of the most creative individuals I’ve met so far, he is dope.
Which one of your songs is your favourite?
Mai Vevana is my favourite.
What are you currently working on and when can we expect it?
I’m working on an album I’m releasing in October. I’ve got a song with Nutty O and Jnr Brown that’s coming out soon.
Where in the world do you wish to perform?
The Apollo theatre because I grew up watching videos of the Jackson 5 performing there.
Describe a typical day in your life
I make music all day if I have electricity.

Musiq Soulchild, Michael Jackson, Bob Marley, Oliver Mtukudzi to mention a few.
Which artists would you like to collaborate with and why?
Amanda Black from South Africa is Amazing, AKAs musicality is dope especially for a rapper, Ringo is a Legend and Thomas Mapfumo another Legend.
What is the soundtrack to your life?
I’ll be there – Jackson 5.
What is your advice to aspiring artists?
Stay true to what you believe in.
What is your favourite thing about being Zimbabwean?
How would you like to be remembered?
I want to make timeless music, I want to be remembered as the guy who made a difference through music.
